About Financial PR

Sino-Lion Communications Pte Ltd (Financial PR) is an award-winning investor relations specialist with a regional presence across Singapore, Hong Kong, and mainland China. Established in 2001, we help listed and privately owned companies design and execute strategic investor relations programmes and communicate effectively with the investment community. Our work is supported by sector-focused expertise in finance and investing, and extensive contacts across the media and investment community. We work closely with management teams to communicate business performance, growth plans, and value propositions to investors, analysts, and the financial media.

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site role in Singapore for an Associate in our Investor Relations team. It is an entry-level position suited to candidates with up to two years of experience, including recent graduates, and comes with structured mentorship and on-the-job training from senior consultants.

The Associate supports the planning and execution of investor relations programmes for a portfolio of SGX-listed and privately owned clients. Day-to-day work involves preparing communication materials, monitoring market and industry developments, coordinating investor and media engagements, and conducting the research and analysis that informs our IR strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project leaders in servicing an existing portfolio of SGX-listed and privately owned companies to help them achieve their investor relations and public relations objectives

• Participate in meetings with client management teams to understand their investor relations and public relations objectives, and support the team in refining their roadmap accordingly

• Prepare communication collateral, including corporate presentations, factsheets, press releases, Q&A materials, website information, and quarterly and annual financial reports that reflect clients' positioning and key messages

• Assist in developing and executing investor relations and public relations strategies tailored to each client's requirements, targeting analysts, investors, and media

• Organise and coordinate investor meetings, conferences, briefings, and media interviews for clients

• Identify media feature opportunities, including corporate and personality profiling, to improve clients' publicity and awareness in Singapore and the region

• Monitor market and industry developments, analyse financial and corporate information, and carry out media monitoring, preparing summary reports of investor relations activities

• Maintain investor, analyst, and media databases and contact lists, and support the timely and accurate dissemination of information to stakeholders

• Contribute to group-level corporate projects, including environmental, social, and governance initiatives and research on macro and industry-level developments

With experience, you will take on ownership of your own client accounts and progress towards leading projects independently, supported by mentorship from senior consultants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Communications, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field

• Up to two years of working experience; recent graduates are welcome to apply

• Prior experience or internships in investor relations, financial PR, communications, banking, or a related field is an advantage but not essential

• Interest in capital markets and a willingness to build a working understanding of investment concepts and the needs of institutional and retail investors

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret financial data, market trends, and investment-related information

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, concise, professional materials and explain complex concepts to a range of audiences

• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines both independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, and comfort working with data and presentations

• Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and maintain professionalism under time pressure

• Professional fluency in written and spoken English, as all client materials are prepared in English. Additional language ability is welcome but not required.

• Knowledge of sustainability reporting and ESG principles is an advantage
