Job description
We are looking for candidates to create fun and interesting curriculum and teach coding to young girls for our company, The Lavender Spaceship Project.
The Lavender Spaceship Project's mission is to help reduce the gender gap in STEM. We do this by developing and sustaining the interest of primary and middle school girls in coding, robotics and STEM fields in general.
Requirements:
- University student with flexibility to work part time - during weekends, weekday evenings.
- Coding experience and knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and/or Python.
- Passionate about promoting girls in coding and STEM fields. Strong communication skills, especially on video calls.
Experience in teaching summer camps, coding classes will be a plus.

About the company
We are Singapore's 1st Integrated STEM enrichment platform focused on delivering personalised lessons for primary and middle school girls.
We deliver online and face to face classes to 5-14 year old girls. The girls participate in an integrated program across multiple areas - coding, robotics, digital making and engineering projects in a stress free motivating environment.
As part of the TLSP community, the girls are exposed to women role models in STEM via live and remote events and sessions to build awareness and encourage girls about the exciting future STEM opportunities.
