Job description for AI for All Programme Manager at Hatch

We are looking for someone who:

- Enjoys zooming out to see the bigger picture while keeping the moving parts aligned.

- Is a resourceful generalist, unafraid to roll up their sleeves to plug gaps, solve problems, and keep things flowing.

- Thrives in small, nimble teams where scopes are fluid, ideas are welcome, and there’s space to try (and sometimes fail).

- Has a broad palette of interests—marketing, operations, facilitation, communications—or is curious to try their hand at a bit of everything.

- Is energised by work that’s people- and impact-driven, and believes in building a more inclusive society through what we do.

Job Responsibilities

We often struggle to write job descriptions, because we know each individual brings their own unique set of experiences, strengths and interests. With a foundational level of a “right fit”, we find ourselves designing the role to fit the candidate where they shine best. Nonetheless, this is a broad idea of what a programme manager does in their role:

You will be leading the team that is driving our **AI for All Programme**, a fully funded 15-hour AI upskilling course for Singapore learners to pick up foundational and essential AI knowledge and skills. This programme targets 4,000 learners and runs from June 2025 to September 2026, with the programme wrap-up to be until December 2026.

This is a project management role with wide scope and creative potential. You'll be the central link between trainers, learners, our marketing and ops teams, and external partners. You will coordinate moving parts, design processes, and ensure the learning journey is not just smooth, but deeply meaningful and empowering.

Every day is different for the programme manager, but a possible day could look like this:

- Start the day checking in with the operations and flow of the programme: is the pipeline for the learners seamlessly flowing, and have we caught those who may have fallen through the cracks of the sign-up process?

- Leading a marketing catch-up: reviewing our B2B outreach, customising workshop offers to potential partners, and tweaking social media strategy.

- Curriculum sharpening and learner management: improving the curriculum based on learner feedback and sharpening touchpoints across the platform.

- In the later part of the day, facilitate an onboarding session or live study session where we meet our learners and answer their questions about the programme.

Must-Haves

- Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders or workstreams

- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage time independently

- Clear, thoughtful written and verbal communication

- Empathy and people-centred thinking

- A growth mindset, willingness to learn, and comfort with ambiguity

- Familiarity with digital tools (e.g. Google Workspace, Notion, Zoom)

Nice-to-Haves

- Prior work in marketing, operations, or curriculum development

- Confidence or interest in facilitating sessions or group calls

- Experience in adult education, community building, or training

- Familiarity with tools like Canva, LinkedIn, Luma, or Mighty Networks

- Interest in tech, future of work, or AI (no coding needed!)

Work Arrangements

- Duration: July 2025 - December 2026

- Contract type: Part-time, half a week

- Working hours: Flexible hours

Let us know what works for best you - whether part-time, full-time and face-to-face or remote, and we can see what we can design to suit everyone’s needs.
