Job description for AI Agent at Penguin Secret Agency PTE, LTD
Objective: To build and own the entire lifecycle of autonomous e-commerce agents that can emulate and eventually surpass elite human growth teams in managing complex commerce stacks.
Key Technical Responsibilities:
- Agent Architecture: Design multi-modal, tool-using architectures capable of long-horizon planning for commerce operations.
- Foundation Behaviors: Build "computer use" capabilities for agents to navigate desktops and platforms like Shopify, Meta, and TikTok.
- Data Flywheel: Curate high-signal interaction data and iterate on training recipes derived from real-world commerce traces.
- Optimization: Design and run ablation studies across pre-training, post-training, and Reinforcement Learning (RL) tied to business outcomes like P/L and CAC.
- Production Systems: Ship scalable pipelines, monitoring tools, and decision logs to ensure reliable and auditable agent performance.
Who You Are
● An exceptional engineer who thrives in a meritocratic environment and owns work end-to-end.
● Deep expertise in one or more of the following: Multimodal foundation models (vision + language + action), agentic data flywheels, scalable AI infrastructure, or RL/post-training recipes.
● Strong intuition for commerce systems and how operational variables connect to unit economics.
● A practitioner of clean code, rigorous experimentation, and concise communication.
Work Time:
Mon–Fri: 9:00–17:30 (1.5h lunch break)
Sat morning (remote): 8:00–12:00
