Transfez - Accounting Officer
Transfez is building a fair financial service for the borderless people. Our mission is to help our customers and communities in which we operate to have easy access to fair financial service, empower them to have control, and eventually improve their financial wellness.
Since our inception nearly one year ago, we have grown rapidly as a key player in the cross-border payment sector in Indonesia. We are regulated by Bank Indonesia in Indonesia, and soon in more jurisdictions. We also are backed by some of the biggest investors in the region.
As our customer base has exploded in the last year, we are now expanding our team to match our own growth. We are looking for team players who are passionate about creating solutions for our customers and communities. As part of a small and lean team, you will have a very direct impact on the success of the company.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial statements and the consolidation financial reporting, and the analysis
- Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and timely
- Review details of accounts (profit and loss and balance sheet accounts)
- Assist in monthly and yearly taxation
- Responsible for the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of bookkeeping and financial reporting process to ensure quality financial reporting
- Evaluate and provide financial and accounting policies & procedures, including continuous improvements by using technology in the overall financial operation reporting process
- Monitor cash liquidity, cash flow, budget and actual cost & spending
- Provide support, audit evidence, and manage both internal and external auditors to ensure all processes and procedures comply with all requirements, principles, and governance
- Collaborate with other departments in identifying and resolving accounting issues
Requirements
- At least 2 years working experience in Accounting field
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Accounting from reputable University
- Understanding of accounting, financial analysis and reporting, regulations, taxation, industry, and market
- Understanding of industry, market, and regulatory standards
- Communication skills, including verbal communication, report writing, and presentation skills
- Interpersonal skills, including leadership, teamwork, and adaptability
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Available to work independently or team in dynamic environment
