Accounts Executive
Legatcy is a team of dedicated consultants and advisors focused on providing the right support system for founders to easily access markets in Asia and grow their businesses - from infancy to maturity.
This position will support the company’s accounting services to correctly record and process financial transactions. Work closely with clients to ensure proper expense recording, processing and timely clearing of aged accounts. Provide continual effort in identifying areas of improvement to refine financial processes to enhance end-to-end functionalities by way of automation. Timely and accurate preparation of financial closing. This person will report directly to the Accounts Manager.
Key accountabilities include the following but are not limited to:
- Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Recording of bills
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Accounts receivable and credit control
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Publish financial statements on time
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Coordinate and liaise with clients to ensure smooth monthly closing of accounts
- Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes
Requirements:
- Proficiency in accounting software and bookkeeping programs such as QuickBooks Online and Xero Accounting
- Demonstrate intermediate skills and knowledge of Excel, as well as other Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Time management and organisational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organisation
- Ability to work independently
- Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- At least 1 – 2 years of relevant working experience
Salary: SGD2,600 - SGD3,000
Working Hours: 9 am to 6 pm, Mon to Fri
