TSL is an anomaly in the publishing scene in Singapore. We're the first local media company that managed to create content holistically across editorial, YouTube and Social Media, doubling our revenue and staff count every year. And we're now on the lookout for new talent to join us.
A brief history: We grew our monthly readership from 0 to 10 million with $0 investment. I guess you can also call this Phase 1 - the make or break phase. Phew! Phase 2 is using our profitability to expand into different verticals apart from Lifestyle, News and Food. Phase 3 is solidifying this new media empire with proprietary tech and apps that will facilitate growth across social media, editorial and video content. Phase 4 will be owning our own office building and expanding out of publishing into other industries. Maybe we'll build a Pikachu hotel and throw parties there.
Anyway, there are now 4 different companies under us and we've just taken up an entire floor of an office building. I'll say we're in Phase 2.5 now and it's a very exciting time to be in TSL.
Print is a sunset industry. You don't want to imagine your life 10 years from now working OT daily stuck in a lowly paid job in a cut-throat industry. You want to be heading one of our publications because you got in early and built the future with us.
I have to warn you: positions are extremely competitive. So don't just tell us you put in 110% in whatever you do. Show us by writing an application letter that will stand out. Hint: Keep it short and include a relevant visuals.
