The Adam Smith Center is a non-profit organisation based in Singapore dedicated to economics and public policy education. It conducts public events such as student workshops, lectures and conferences to shape a new generation of leaders.
Founded in 2017, it has since hosted events covering major topics of interest, such as entrepreneurship & innovation, the Singapore Bicentennial, intellectual property rights and environmental conservation.
The organisation also seeks to engage in policy research from a market-based perspective, articulating the case for open markets, trade and economic globalisation in today's context.
The organisation is led by a strong advisory board, which includes Professor Razeen Sally from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Professor Chandran Kukathas from the Singapore Management University and Mr Farhan Firdaus, venture capitalist, social entrepreneur and prominent youth mentor.
