JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an energetic and licensed Zumba Instructor to join our team on a part-time(freelance/contract) basis. The role involves conducting group Zumba dance-fitness classes for children, youth, and/or adult/family participants at Crestar's direct centres and institutional partners. Classes are conducted on weekday evenings and/or weekends, based on assigned timeslots.

JOB ROLE

A) Class Teaching & Delivery

•        Plan and lead engaging Zumba classes using age-appropriate choreography and music.

•        Break down routines into clear, easy-to-follow steps for participants of varying ability.

•        Create a fun, high-energy, and inclusive class atmosphere that keeps participants motivated.

•        Prepare music playlists and any required equipment ahead of each class, and keep choreography fresh and current.

B) Student Care & Class Administration

•        Monitor participants' safety and well-being throughout each session, modifying moves as needed.

•        Maintain regular communication with the Centre-in-Charge on attendance, progress, and any concerns.

•        Arrive punctually and be class-ready ahead of the scheduled start time.

•        Uphold Crestar's standards of professionalism, punctuality, and student care at all times.

REQUIREMENTS

•        Valid Zumba Basic (B1)Instructor License at minimum; Zumba Kids/Zumba Kids Jr. certification an advantage.

•        At least 1 year of experience teaching group Zumba or dance-fitness classes.

•        Confident, energetic teaching style with strong stage presence.

•        Ability to create and adapt choreography for different age groups and skill levels.

•        Strong communication and motivational skills.

•        Available for at least 1–2fixed weekday or weekend timeslots per week.

•        Valid CPR/AED certification, or willingness to obtain one.
