JOB SCOPES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding.
• Lay out, positions, aligns, and fits components together.
• Fundamental understanding of blueprint reading.
• Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.
• Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc, or gas welding
• equipment.
• Assembles parts by bolting and riveting.
• Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.
• Manually bend tube in various sizes, including 1/2”, 3/8”, 1/4”, and 1/8”.
• Orbital welding - standard or ultra clean.
• Tweaking - aligning all parts to meet specifications of the customer blue print.
• Packaging - package all parts to meet customer specifications.
• Assembly - can disassemble and assemble valves, as well as can assemble gas line
• subassemblies.
• Ultrasonic Cleaning- perform job to required customer specifications.
• Tacking - procedure that holds parts together temporarily prior to welding.
• Other duties may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Posses NITEC or NTC certificate; or
• six months to one year related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
