Job description for Warehouse Supervisor (1-year contract) at Aramex International Logistics Pte Ltd

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, shipping, and returns processing.

Ensure all customer orders are processed accurately and delivered within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).

Monitor workflow and allocate manpower and resources effectively to meet operational requirements.

Coordinate with transportation, customer service, and other internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

Support implementation of new customer onboarding and operational processes.

Inventory Control

Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock audits, and reconciliation activities.

Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Ensure proper stock rotation and adherence to inventory management procedures.

Monitor inventory KPI performance and reporting.

Team Leadership

Lead, coach, and supervise warehouse associates to achieve operational targets.

Conduct daily shift briefings and communicate operational priorities.

Monitor employee performance and provide training, guidance, and development opportunities.

Foster a positive and productive work environment focused on teamwork and accountability.

Customer Service & KPI Management

Ensure customer requirements and service expectations are consistently met.

Monitor key operational KPIs such as:

Order accuracy

Inventory accuracy

Productivity rates

On-time shipment performance

Dock-to-stock turnaround time

Prepare operational reports and provide performance updates to management.

Safety & Compliance

Enforce workplace safety standards, warehouse operating procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure prompt resolution of identified risks.

Ensure proper handling and storage of goods in accordance with customer and company requirements.

Maintain housekeeping standards and compliance with 5S practices.

Continuous Improvement

Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.

Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

Support warehouse system enhancements and process optimization initiatives.

 

Requirements:

Minimum 3-5 years of warehouse operations experience, preferably within a 3PL or contract logistics environment.

At least 1-2 years of supervisory experience managing warehouse personnel.

Experience handling multi-client 3PL operations.

Experience managing value-added services (VAS) activities such as kitting, labeling, repacking, and customization.
