Position Summary

The Warehouse Operations Specialist I is responsible for the secure physical handling, processing, movement, and storage of client records, media containers, and information assets within an Iron Mountain Record Center.

Working in a fast-paced environment, you will operate barcode scanning technology (SafeKeeper platform) to accurately retrieve, re-file, process, and track client storage cartons while adhering to strict security protocols and chain-of-custody standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Secure Material Handling & Fulfillment

Order Processing: Fulfill customer order requests by retrieving secure storage containers, record boxes, and media files from designated shelf locations.

Inbound & Refiling: Receive inbound shipments, verify barcode labels, process inventory returns, and accurately refile cartons into high-bay racking systems.

Loading & Unloading: Safely unload incoming trucks and stage, palletize, wrap, and load outbound delivery vehicles.

2. Security, Compliance & Safety

Information Security: Rigorously comply with Iron Mountain’s strict physical security standards, safeguarding confidential client information at all times.

Safety Adherence: Follow safe lifting techniques, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and immediately report hazards, equipment malfunctions, or near-misses.

Qualifications & Requirements

High School, Diploma, or Degree

Tech Comfort: basic computer literacy and comfort using handheld barcode scanners / RF devices.

Experience: 0 to 2 years in a warehouse, logistics, record center, or physical distribution environment.

Candidate with Forklift License (Prefered)
