Job description for Warehouse Operations Assistant at Yappy Pets
We are looking for a responsible and organized Warehouse Operations Assistant to support our warehouse and logistics operations. The role involves generating invoices, coordinating deliveries, maintaining inventory records, and providing administrative and customer service support.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare delivery orders, invoices, and related documentation thru company in house system.
Update delivery status and shipment details to customers.
Handle customer service duties, including answering the company’s main phone line and assisting walk-in customers for self-pickup orders.
Ensure inventory records and documentation are updated accurately and in a timely manner.
Update and manage stock movements within the warehouse.
Conduct monthly warehouse cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
Prepare customer orders for cash sales transactions.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Minimum ‘O’ Level / NITEC / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
1–2 years of administrative experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is an advantage.
Able to start work within a short notice period.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Able to work independently with attention to detail.
Bilingual in English and Chinese to liaise with Chinese-speaking customers/drivers.
Positive work attitude and willingness to learn.
Willing to work in a non air-conditioned environment
