About the role

We are seeking a Warehouse Assistant to join the team at Naigai Nitto Singapore Pte Ltd. This is a full-time position based in the Toh Guan West Region. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution centre. Your contributions will directly impact our efficiency, accuracy, and ability to serve our customers effectively. Key responsibilities

Receiving, checking and recording incoming goods and materials into the warehouse management system

Organising and storing products in designated locations, ensuring proper labelling and inventory control

Picking and packing orders accurately according to customer requirements and shipment instructions

Operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently

Performing regular stock counts and reconciling inventory discrepancies

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations

Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring goods are secured appropriately

Assisting with general warehouse maintenance and housekeeping duties

Supporting the warehouse team to meet daily productivity and quality targets

Must be able to carry heavy cargoes more than 20kg

Ability to work 5.5 days work week.Mon-Fri:8.30am to 5.30pm , Sat:8.30am to 12.30pm

What we're looking for

Minimum secondary school education or equivalent qualification

Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution centre or similar logistics environment is preferred

Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks, lifting and standing for extended periods

Attention to detail with strong accuracy in recording and organising inventory

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Good time management and organisational skills to prioritise multiple tasks

Basic computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous

Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one is highly desirable

Strong commitment to health and safety standards and procedures

Reliability, punctuality and a proactive attitude towards work
