Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Traffic Controller in SH Cogent Logistics Pte Ltd. The Traffic Controller play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing the movement of containers via land transportation, ensuring timely deliveries, efficient route planning and effective communication with drivers and clients.
 

Manage trucking activities to fulfill customers’ delivery requirement.

Provide real-time updates on job progress in the system.

Monitor truck and delivery status to optimize resources.

Coordinate container trucking consignments with Prime Mover Drivers and customers.

Ensure the accuracy of driver incentives for drivers.

Perform counseling to Prime Mover Drivers when necessary.

Any other duties and responsibilities assigned.

Requirements

Degree / Diploma in logistics, supply chain management, transportation or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in deployment of drivers for trucking/ loose cargo jobs.

Those without working experience but keen to build a career in transport operations can apply and training will be provided

Competent in Portnet.

Strong understanding of land transportation regulations, routes and logistical considerations in Singapore.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with drivers, clients and internal stakeholders.

Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
