About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Trade Development Manager to join our Global Headquarters team. This role is integral to driving the growth and development of our core LCL cargo consolidation business across an established global network. The successful candidate will work closely with international offices and partners to strengthen trade lanes, identify business opportunities, and support strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Be part of our Global HQ Team in driving and developing the company’s core LCL cargo consolidation business across an extensive international network.
Assist in the management and monitoring of the performance of the group’s global offices and agency network.
Support collaboration with overseas agents and partners to strengthen strategic relationships and expand the company’s global footprint.
Develop strong market and trade knowledge, while keeping abreast of industry trends, market conditions, competitive developments, and business outlook.
Monitor existing and develop new trade lanes and identify new business and product development potential.
Conduct business analysis with our in-house system of statistics collation.
Support in the group’s strategic development through management of special projects.
Job Requirements
Degree/Diploma from a recognised tertiary institution.
Relevant working experience in NVOCC, freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain or shipping industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Good writing and communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across different regions.
Willingness and ability to travel overseas at short notice when required.
