About the role

As Temple Assistant, you shall be assisting the Operations Supervisor with the day-to-day running and special events operations of the temple. This full-time position is located in the Downtown Core Central Region of Singapore.

What you'll be doing

Handle sales and enquiries from devotees about rituals and celebratory events.

Handle equiries from visitors and provide information about the temple and its practices.

Maintain tidiness and cleanliness of the temple premises and its equipment.

Assist with the set-up and dismantling of altars, decorations, and religious paraphernalia for ceremonies and events.

Support the Temple Committee in overall temple operation.

What we're looking for

Able to read, write and communicate in Mandarin and/or Hokkien or other Chinese dialects. Understands basic English.

Cheerful disposition and customer service mindset. 

Physically fit and can perform light physical tasks such as lifting and moving objects
