Job Scope – Mechanical / Electrical Assembly Technician
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, or both mechanical and electrical assembly of machine modules, complete machines, and sub-assemblies.
Perform machine assembly according to manufacturing work instructions, engineering drawings, and assembly procedures.
For mechanical assembly:
Install machine parts, components, frames, and structures according to mechanical drawings.
Perform fitting, alignment, fastening, and adjustment of machine components.
For electrical assembly:
Carry out electrical wiring, cable routing, wire harnessing, panel wiring, and connection works based on electrical schematics and circuitry blueprints.
Ensure proper cable management and correct electrical connections.
Support machine testing, troubleshooting, and basic debugging during assembly stage.
Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and production teams to ensure assembly quality and production schedule are met.
Identify and report assembly issues, missing parts, or technical problems to the supervisor.
Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure the work area is clean, safe, and organized.
Follow all workplace safety procedures and comply with company safety regulations at all times.
MAIN JOB SPECIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
At least a NITEC level qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Able to read electro-mechanical drawings.
0 to 3 years experience in machine production / assembly environment.
Preferably from semiconductor equipment / general automation background.
5 Working day per week
