Job description for Technical Officer/Technician (Technical Support) at City Energy
Key responsibilities
Attend to reported gas incidents and gas supply abnormalities such as gas fires, poor gas supply pressure, suspected gas leaks, etc.
Perform site investigations and rectification work, coordinating with relevant authorities (e.g. SPPG, SCDF, HDB, EMA) and other external agencies and submission of reports.
Respond to customer service requests including installing/ replacing/ troubleshooting gas appliances, servicing of gas stoves, conducting soundness tests on gas installations, etc.
Handle customers' enquiries/ feedback and manage service recoveries.
Prepare gas incident reports.
Undertake any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
About you
Diploma / Higher Nitec / Nitec in Mechanical or any Engineering discipline.
Certificate in Plumbing and Pipefitting is preferred.
Relevant experience in gas, plumbing, sanitary or electrical systems will be an advantage.
Able to work independently and in a team.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Possess a valid Class 3 driving license (access to own transport is preferred).
Work-day: 4 days' work week
