Job Description:

Responsible for reviewing new parts (drawings and process requirements) from existing and new customers. Includes review of new part revisions for existing parts.

Perform periodic tests as required, including the maintenance and record keeping of tests result. Where necessary, arrangement for external lab tests will be needed.

Perform chemical analysis (titration) for the production baths.

Follow-up of process or specification changes where required.

Liaise with the suppliers to gain technical support and information during new process reviews.

Assist technical engineers in customer and certification audits.

Assist in costing review for new parts.

Assist in drafting and amendment of related shopfloor documents. Includes but not limited to Production line record, Test reports, Analysis reports, COA, SDS and Work Instruction.

Requirements:

Diploma in Chemical Engineering.

0-2  years in chemical engineering.

Ability to read engineering drawings and CAD skills are highly desirable.
