Job description for Store Assistant at SEA HERCULES CRANES PTE. LTD.

Job Summary

Responsible for supporting daily warehouse and logistics operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, packing, and handling materials. Ensure proper inventory control, timely and accurate ERP system updates, proper documentation, safe material handling, and good housekeeping to support smooth operational and production activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform picking, packing, labelling, loading, unloading, and other warehouse activities.

• Receive, inspect, and check incoming deliveries for quantity, quality, and damage against delivery documents.

• Ensure all incoming and outgoing materials are properly documented and updated in the ERP system on a timely and accurate basis.

• Maintain proper inventory control, storage arrangement, and stock accuracy.

• Coordinate and manage stock, tools, components, consumables, and materials within the warehouse.

• Issue materials, tools, and components to production or project teams according to requirements.

• Ensure all returned tools and equipment are properly recorded and stored.

• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or items requiring replenishment.

• Maintain cleanliness, safety, security, and good housekeeping within the warehouse and store areas.

• Manage loading/unloading activities for lorries, vans, and deliveries.

• Ensure products and materials are properly packed and prepared for delivery or collection.

• Assist with logistics coordination and transportation arrangements when required.

• Comply with company Quality, Safety, Health & Environmental (QSHE) policies and relevant regulations at all times.

• Support day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations to ensure smooth workflow.

• Carry out any other duties assigned by the Supervisor or Management.

• Ensure compliance to relevant government regulations and company’s quality, safety, health and environmental (QSHE) policies, practices and procedures at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience, preferably in an industrial setting.

• Proficient in MS Office skills and experience with ERP systems will be added advantage

• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills.

• A team player with the ability to work independently as well as in a team
