Job description for Store Assistant at Manitou Group
Responsibilities :
Receiving, storing, checking, retrieving, loading, unloading, repacking, and palletizing import and export cargo, in accordance with established procedures.
Maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting physical inventory counts, and ensuring proper storage and organization of goods.
Operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks) and ensuring their proper maintenance.
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safe work procedure (SWP) and complying with company policies.
Collaborating with team members, communicating effectively, and providing guidance to junior staff.
Ability to identify and resolve operational issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.
Addressing customer complaints and resolving operational discrepancies related to warehouse operations.
Coordinate with third-party warehouses for inventory transfers and deliveries.
Comfortable with lifting 15-20kg goods when required.
Performing other tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers.
Requirements :
Experiences in a spare parts warehouse operation
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Forklift certificate
With Class 3 licence is added advantage
Willing to work overtime when needed
