Our client is seeking a Specification Manager to join their team!

What you'll be doing?

Engage with stakeholders: Work with architects, consultants, and developers to ensure product specifications are approved and projects are secured.

Track project progress: Monitor pipelines and maintain accurate reports on project status and market activities.

Support marketing initiatives: Attend seminars, trade fairs, and other events to promote branding and support sales objectives.

Market research and strategy: Conduct research to identify expansion opportunities and develop strategies to stay ahead of competitors.

Collaborate with R&D: Advise on market needs, support product innovation, and help establish pricing strategies.

Meet targets: Achieve specification work targets for assigned projects, ensuring timely and successful project conversions.

Who are they looking for?

Engineering background: A degree in Engineering, particularly in Structural, Building, Construction, or Architecture, is essential.

Industry experience: At least 3 years of experience in product/system specification within the construction sector.

Understanding of local practices: Familiarity with construction practices and design compliances in South East Asia.

Network and communication: A robust network with architects and consultants, along with strong presentation and communication skills.

Technical interpretation: Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Self-motivation: Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Bilingual proficiency: Proficiency in a second language is advantageous for wider communication.

Travel and vehicle: Willingness to travel to sites and possession of a vehicle (Class 3/3A) are necessary for the role.
