Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations.
• Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to company standards.
• Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high levels of performance and professionalism.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Manage inventory, stock ordering, and minimize food wastage.
• Ensure compliance with SFA food safety and workplace safety regulations.
• Support menu development, recipe standardization, and seasonal promotions.
• Take charge of kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in F&B kitchen role.
• Experience in café, casual dining, or Western/Asian fusion concepts preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good understanding of food costing, inventory control, and kitchen operations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
• Food Hygiene Certificate preferred.
