Our client is seeking a Site Mechanical Engineer (Construction) to join their team!

About Our Client

Our client is a Singapore-based A1-grade civil engineering and general building contractor. They are a top player in the industry, working on significant projects for government agencies and statutory boards.

What you'll be doing?

Design Review & Approval — Take charge of reviewing and approving mechanical designs, applying your technical judgement to make amendments that ensure accuracy and excellence.

Compliance & Standards — Play a key role in ensuring that all mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, meet relevant local codes and industry standards.

Team Coordination — Collaborate closely with consultants, contractors, and project teams to bring approved designs to life in a cohesive and efficient manner.

Installation Oversight — Lead the oversight of mechanical system installations and commissioning processes, ensuring everything functions safely and to specification.

Site Inspections & Testing — Carry out site inspections and performance tests to verify that mechanical systems are operating as intended and meeting project benchmarks.

Documentation Management — Maintain thorough and accurate records of design changes, approvals, and project progress to support transparency and accountability.

Quality & Schedule Delivery — Drive the timely completion of all mechanical works, upholding the highest standards of quality throughout the project.

Who are they looking for?

Bachelor’s degree — Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.

Experience — At least 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering within building construction projects, and strong knowledge of building services systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Other Information:

Working Day: Alternating 5–6–5–6 work week. One week will be Monday to Friday (8:00am–5:00pm), and the following week will be Monday to Saturday (8:00am–5:00pm)

Site Location: Changi

Salary: $4800 - $6800
