Job description for Shipping Assistant (Documentation) at Siltronic
Major Responsibilities:
Preparation of pre-booking shipment, create shipment documentation, ensure proper delivery of all outbound materials to customers; organize and file shipment documentation and records.
Interact with all levels and departments, both internal and external for shipment information; answer and respond for all inquiries on shipping issues.
Coordinate the functions of all shipping related activities (Packing of finished goods, shrink wrapping, strapping, etc) and forward necessary shipment documents to respective party.
Dispatch carriers for pickup and on-load material.
Trace shipments to provide proof of shipment, estimated of arrival and proof of delivery.
Operate forklift and electronic shipping systems.
Perform incoming checks of shipper boxes.
Perform unloading of shipping packages from shipper boxes.
Prioritize and organize workload to meet time constrains.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge of shipping procedure & documentation and familiar
Prior experience in Air & Sea freight import/export would be an added advantage
Proficient in PC applications such as MS Word, Excel, SAP
Working Hours:
Mondays to Fridays (Office hour)
