Job description for Shipping Administrator at BorgWarner

Position Summary
The Shipping Administrator will be responsible for overseeing the shipping operations, including processing courier services. The position also includes coordinating between the plant and the distribution center. They will handle letter of credit documents for courier services as well as weekly scrap sales with vendors and the finance team.
Key roles and responsibilities
- Process shipping operation, scrap sale, special assignments and other documents
- Perform the audit of transfer form (Plant to Direct Store Delivery Consolidation) data daily
- Coordinate between Direct Store Delivery Consolidation and plant shipping requests
- Perform the activities – hand carry document, consignment, Shipping Request Miscellaneous Delivery
- Coordinate and arrange with courier service shipment and process courier service documents request and Letter Credit
- Perform the weekly scrap sales with the vendor and finance
- Maintaining accurate records of shipping document and manage communication with multiple parties
Requirements
- Diploma in Logistics or Warehouse Management / with 5 years of experiences in shipping function and proficient with using SAP and Excel
- Able to adapt to a fast-paced working environment, prioritization and attention to details
