About the role
As a Senior Project Engineer at MUHR Asia, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering projects across both domestic and industrial sectors. This full-time position is based in the Kaki Bukit East Region and will involve overseeing all aspects of project management, from planning and coordination to risk mitigation and stakeholder management.
What you'll be doing
Project Execution & Sector Delivery
Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of assigned engineering projects within the domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Coordinate multi-disciplinary project scopes (integrating electrical components with general engineering, civil, or mechanical works).
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, main contractors, vendors, and relevant Singapore statutory boards (EMA, BCA, etc.).
Manage project schedules, procurement support, progress claims, and risk mitigation strategies.
Regional & HQ Collaboration
Work closely with international teams and stakeholders around the ASEAN/APAC region.
Liaise regularly with the German Headquarters to align project execution with global corporate standards, technical guidelines, and reporting frameworks.
People Management & Mentorship
Supervise, guide, and accelerate the professional development of younger/junior project engineers both on-site and in the office.
Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring the site team understands project milestones and deliverables.
Technical Oversight
Leverage your electrical/automation background to provide technical guidance, resolve engineering bottlenecks, and review project drawings/specifications
What we're looking for
Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering: Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE), or Mechatronics Engineering (with a strong focus/specialization in electrical systems and automation).
Experience: 5 to 8 years of hands-on project engineering experience handling domestic, commercial, or industrial projects.
Leadership: Proven track record of supervising junior engineers, technicians, or site sub-contractors.
Cross-Cultural Competency: Experience working with regional APAC teams and communicating effectively with Western/European counterparts (German HQ).
Travel: Must be fully willing and flexible to travel overseas based on regional project demands.
Soft Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a proactive attitude toward navigating a matrix reporting structure.
