Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and manufacturing processes, ensuring stable, high-yield production

Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve yield, delamination, voids, and surface quality issues

Analyse production data to implement continuous improvement initiatives for yield, cycle time, and throughput

Lead engineering and productivity improvement projects, ensuring measurable gains in efficiency and cost

Drive initiatives to reduce scrap, improve material utilization, and enhance on-time delivery (OTD)

Develop and maintain process documentation (SOPs, work instructions, control plans) to ensure consistency and compliance

Lead machine and production line development from concept to full production deployment

Define equipment specifications, process requirements, and technical standards

Develop layout planning for new production lines and capacity expansion

Work closely with vendors on machine design, fabrication, and customization

Review and approve mechanical design, drawings, and technical proposals

Manage and execute Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT)

Oversee installation, commissioning, and startup (STA) of equipment

Drive trial runs, validation, and pilot production to meet process requirements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Process, Production, Quality, Maintenance)

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards

Perform any other reasonable duties as required by Management from time to time

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing industry

Experience in PCB, CCl, Prepreg, Laminates or related industries (added advantage)

Strong experience in

Equipment design and build, Vendor management and machine development

FAT, SAT, installation and commissioning

Hands-on with production line setup and industrialization

Familiarity with

Roll-to-roll processes, lamination systems, or resin-related equipment (added advantage)

Automation systems (PLC, motion control) (added advantage)
