We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to act as a primary architect and builder of our data ecosystem in Singapore. This is a role designed for an engineer who enjoys transforming business requirements into robust, production-ready systems. You will not just be managing pipelines; you will be optimizing query performance at scale, architecting fault-tolerant infrastructure, and raising the collective technical bar of our engineering team through consistent mentorship and rigorous code reviews.

Job Responsibilities:

Take full architectural ownership by designing and deploying scalable data models and warehouses.

Develop ETL and ELT pipelines that serve as the backbone for real-time analytics and business intelligence.

Focus on system resilience by building high-throughput data services capable of handling complex processing with minimal downtime.

Drive operational excellence by ensuring data reliability and consistency are built-in features of every flow.

Requirements:

Hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.

Possess a minimum of five years of hands-on experience building production-grade data infrastructure or backend systems.

Demonstrate expert proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala.

Maintain deep experience in the big data ecosystem, specifically with Spark, Flink, Kafka, and Airflow.

Show a proven track record with major cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Apply a strong command of advanced SQL optimization and system design for real-time use cases.

Act as an independent finisher who takes ownership of a project from initial concept to final delivery.

Communicate clearly to bridge the gap between complex technical architecture and non-technical stakeholders.

Collaborate effectively with engineering, analytics, and product teams to deliver usable data solutions.
