Job description for Sales Engineer at Al-Tech Instrumentation & Engineering Pte Ltd
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and business partners to identify and develop new business opportunities
Lead and manage the sales and marketing team to achieve financial and growth targets
Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, proposal preparation, negotiation, and deal closure to achieve sales targets
Technical solution & collaboration by providing pre-sales technical support and on-site support for robotic/ automation project
Provide pre-sales technical support, conduct product demonstrations, and deliver presentations tailored to customer requirements
Prepare quotations, sales proposals, and performance reports for management review
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage
Offer after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction through prompt follow-up and issue resolution
Work closely with management to review sales performance, provide project updates, and implement sales strategies
Continuously enhance technical knowledge to introduce innovative and value-added solutions to clients
Perform other ad-hoc duties as required
Job Requirement:
Diploma/Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
Min 3-5 years and above experience in a sales/marketing or technical sales role, preferably in the manufacturing engineering industry
Sales experience in robotics, automation or industrial solutions will be a plus
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Independent and able to perform under pressure and tight deadlines
Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
Possess a valid Class 3 or Class 3A driving license and own vehicle
