Job Summary
Drive sales growth by developing strategic plans, providing technical guidance, and building strong customer relationships in the Oil & Gas and related industries. Manage customer inquiries, negotiate deals, and identify new business opportunities within assigned territories.
Responsibilities
- Understand company products and interpret customer specifications to provide accurate technical guidance and solutions
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet company goals and achieve sales targets
- Build and maintain strong, outcome-focused relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and loyalty
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and incorporate feedback to improve service and product offerings
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by developing, negotiating, and closing deals with new customers
- Prepare commercial proposals and negotiate favorable terms including pricing and delivery schedules
- Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders
- Conduct sales visits and develop new accounts using targeted strategies to increase market share
- Organize and participate in industry events such as seminars, trade shows, and sales presentations to promote products
- Perform market research to analyze industry trends, emerging technologies, competitor strengths and weaknesses, and customer needs
- Travel up to 70% within assigned territories to engage customers and support sales activities
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering
- 7 to 10 years of sales or engineering experience in Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Precision Engineering industries
- Familiarity with Pumps, Compressors, Downhole Equipment, Wellhead Equipment, and Valve seal and wear components
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and planning skills, dependable, and sales-driven
- Possession of Class 3 Driving License with own transport
