Duties: 

Design and conduct experiments to address research objectives.

Develop and optimize protein purification protocols to ensure high purity, yield, and activity.

Execute and troubleshoot purification processes, including chromatography (affinity, ion exchange, size exclusion), TFF, filtration, and ultracentrifugation.

Perform analytical characterization of purified proteins using techniques such as, SDS-PAGE, ELISA, Western Blot, etc.

Stay updated on scientific advancements through literature reviews.

Perform laboratory work, including sample preparation, data collection, and analysis.

Interpret results, draw conclusions, and present findings through reports and presentations.

Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and cross-functional teams on research and product development.

Maintain accurate experimental records in compliance with company policies and regulations.

Assist in preparing research proposals, grant applications, and publications.

Participate in scientific conferences, seminars, and workshops.

Requirements:

Master's degree or higher in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related fields.

3-8 years of research experience in academia or industry, with a strong track record of scientific innovation.

Proficiency in protein purification, cell culture, and relevant laboratory techniques.

Hands-on experience with purification techniques, including chromatography (affinity, ion exchange, size exclusion), TFF, filtration, and ultracentrifugation.

Experience in process optimization, scale-up, or technology transfer to manufacturing is preferred.

Knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001, and biopharmaceutical manufacturing practices is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of experimental design, data analysis, and statistical tools.

Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
