About the role

B+W Builders Private Limited, a leading construction company in Singapore, is seeking a talented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in the Hougang North-East Region. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Quantity Surveyor (Full-Scope)

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in the full project lifecycle — from tendering to final accounts — across diverse and exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare tender documents, perform quantity take-offs, and develop cost estimates

Manage project costs, budgeting, and financial reporting

Handle progress claims, variation orders (VO), and final accounts

Evaluate subcontractor claims and manage subcontract administration

Source and assess quotations from suppliers and subcontractors

Conduct site visits, verify measurements, and attend project meetings

Liaise with clients, consultants, and project teams to ensure smooth execution

Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and industry standards.

Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

What we're looking for

Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field with 2+ years of post-qualification experience in the construction industry

Proven track record in managing costs and budgets for complex construction projects

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders

Proficient in using project management and cost estimating software, such as Microsoft Excel and Project

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance

Familiarity with construction regulations, contracts, and industry best practices
