Job description:
Prepare and manage project budgets, cost plans, and financial forecasts in accordance with project requirements.
Prepare interim valuations, progress claims, and final accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual terms.
Assess and manage variations, claims, and cost changes, providing timely advice on financial impact.
Conduct cost analysis, monitor expenditure, and track project costs against approved budgets.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors on financial and contractual matters to resolve issues promptly.
Support contract administration activities, including certification, financial correspondence, and documentation.
Prepare cost reports and summaries to support project reviews and management decisions.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure completeness of cost‑related documentation.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
Relevant experience in quantity surveying, cost management, or commercial support roles within construction or project environments.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to interpret cost and financial data accurately.
Working knowledge of construction contracts, valuation methods, and cost control practices.
Familiarity with construction project management tools and cost management software.
