About the role

As a Quality Engineer at Unique Precision Pte Ltd, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality products that meet industry standards and customer requirements. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, this full-time position is based in the Kampong Ubi region, where you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining robust quality control processes across all stages of the manufacturing lifecycle.

What you'll be doing

Developing and overseeing quality control procedures and protocols to identify and mitigate potential quality issues

Conducting regular inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards

Analysing quality data and generating detailed reports to track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement

Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and procurement, to resolve quality-related problems

Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality control best practices

Staying up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices to continuously enhance quality processes

Implementing corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformances and drive continuous improvement

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar quality assurance role within the manufacturing industry

Proficient in quality management tools and techniques, such as Six Sigma, Lean, and statistical process control

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards

Knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, ASTM)
