Position Description
The Quality Engineer ensures that products and processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role focuses on identifying and resolving quality issues, implementing quality assurance systems, and support continuous improvement efforts across the organization.

Part A - Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Perform internal audits and to ensure organization is in compliance to internal processes and airworthiness regulatory requirements.
Improve / enhance internal processes through scheduled / unscheduled / surveillance audits.
Maintain and keep up-to-date Quality manuals and training records.
Assist and perform external supplier audits.
Assist in external airworthiness authority and customer audits.
Follow-up with process owners to ensure prompt and appropriate corrective actions are duly completed.
Monitoring open audit findings, including monitoring the execution and the intended effectiveness of the actions and the monitoring of corrective action plans.
Liaise with customers / vendors / suppliers on non-conformance activities, perform root cause analysis and determine effective corrective actions to reduce or eliminate the cost of poor quality.
Conduct internal briefing / training for certifying staff and technicians as necessary.
Assist in maintaining the approved suppliers list.
Processing and monitoring of company authorization renewal and applications.
The maintenance of quality documents and systems such as QA Manuals and database management of the quality management system.
Drive and promote Quality and Safety Culture and participate in QEHS and other shop initiatives as necessary.

To carry-out other QA functions as required.
Part B. Required Experience, Competencies & Qualifications
Minimum Diploma in Engineering from an accredited polytechnic (or equivalent).
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in aerospace quality (management) systems or a quality assurance role.
Knowledge of aviation regulation such as Part 145 EASA, FAA, CASA, SMS and AS9100.
Knowledge of and experience with aircraft / component (parts) maintenance.
Internal auditor trained with auditing experience is preferred.
Proficiency with PC tools and software.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Being able to work independently and good analytical skills.
Able to communicate at all levels of the organization.
