QA / Production Assistant (Food Processing)

Join Our Team
We're looking for a hands-on, responsible individual to join our growing food production team. Experience in food manufacturing or quality control is a bonus, but not essential—we're happy to provide training for candidates with the right attitude.
You'll work closely with our production team to ensure our fresh coconut products and beverages are prepared safely, hygienically and to a consistently high standard.
What You'll Do
Carry out daily hygiene and cleanliness checks in the production area.
Monitor food preparation, packing and storage to ensure food safety standards are followed.
Assist with processing fresh coconuts, including coconut water extraction, coconut meat extraction and vacuum packing.
Support the production of coconut jelly desserts and fresh fruit juices.
Check incoming raw materials for freshness, quality and expiry dates.
Ensure products are labelled correctly, sealed properly and packed using food-safe procedures.
Maintain simple production, temperature and cleaning records.
Assist with food safety documentation and audit preparation.
Help train new staff on hygiene and safe work practices.
Work with the team to keep the production area organised, clean and efficient.
Who We're Looking For
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow with the company.
Comfortable using computers and mobile apps, and willing to learn our in-house digital systems (e.g. Lark) for daily communication, documentation and reporting.
Responsible, organised and attentive to detail.
Able to work in a hands-on food production environment.
Good communication skills and able to work well with production, packing and delivery teams.
Takes pride in maintaining cleanliness, food safety and consistent product quality.
Bonus If You Have
Experience in food manufacturing, catering, central kitchen or F&B operations.
Knowledge of food hygiene, HACCP, FSMS, ISO 22000 or SFA requirements.
A background in Food Science, Food Technology or a related field.
