Python Developer (Big Data / Cloudera)

📍 Singapore | 6-Month Contract

We're looking for a Python Developer with strong Big Data and Cloudera platform experience to join a dynamic technology team supporting enterprise-scale data solutions within the banking industry.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and integrate solutions using Cloudera Data Platform (CDP) and Cloudera Data Science Workbench (CDSW).

Design and build secure, scalable, and high-performance data processing pipelines using Python technologies.

Collaborate with cross-functional technology and infrastructure teams to deliver business solutions.

Prepare technical documentation for design, development, and implementation activities.

Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Requirements

✔ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
✔ Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
✔ Strong experience with:

Cloudera CDP & CDSW

Hadoop, Hive, Spark/PySpark

Python (Django)

SQL, ETL & Data Pipelines

Red Hat Linux & Shell Scripting

Ranger/Atlas for data security and access control

Preferred Skills

Experience in banking or financial services environments

Cloudera Manager administration

Hadoop ecosystem tools (Hive, Impala, Kafka, ZooKeeper)

Exposure to Data Science projects and market data analytics

Basic Java/Scala knowledge
