Job description for Purchasing Executive at Built Concepts

Job Responsibilities
Requirements

  • Source and purchase materials, hardware, and consumables for manufacturing and carpentry projects.
  • Request quotations, compare pricing, and negotiate with suppliers of pricing, credit terns and supplier contracts.
  • Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO).
  • Follow up on delivery schedules and ensure timely supply of materials.
  • Coordinate with production and project teams on material requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock planning.
  • Monitor cost and project budget and develop cost forecasts.
  • Maintain supplier records and purchasing documentation.
  • Resolve delivery discrepancies, shortages, and supplier issues.
  • Assist in logistics and shipment coordination when required.
  • Diploma / Higher NITEC or equivalent qualification.
  • 1–3 years of purchasing experience preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, carpentry, construction, or millwork industry is an advantage.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Excel and purchasing processes.
  • Good communication and negotiation skills.
  • Responsible, organized, and able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of AutoCount software, logistics and inventory coordination will be advantageous.
