Sales Project Executive
Position Summary

The Sales Project Executive is responsible for the end-to-end management of vessel-related projects, from the receipt of project information through successful onboard commissioning and final handover. The role requires close coordination with sales teams, customers, vessel crews, port agents, service engineers, and technical support teams to ensure timely vessel preparation, equipment delivery, commissioning, and project completion.

Gather and review project information received from sales teams and customers, ensuring clarity on project scope, timelines, and technical requirements.

Serve as the primary coordination point between internal teams and vessel representatives throughout the project lifecycle.

Monitor project progress and ensure all milestones are achieved according to schedule.

Liaise with vessel crew and management to ensure all vessel preparation activities are completed before commissioning.

Review Monkey Island conditions and assess suitability for new antenna installations.

Obtain vessel schedules in advance to plan equipment shipment, delivery, and engineer attendance.

Collect and review Monkey Island photographs and General Arrangement (GA) drawings.

Recommend the most suitable antenna installation location and provide technical specifications for pedestals, flange adapters, and goose neck requirements.

Coordinate and monitor pre-installation preparation activities to ensure smooth commissioning during engineer attendance onboard.

Follow up on preparation progress and obtain completion photographs for verification.

Pre-configure required equipment, including Smartbox units, IP phones, and CCTV systems, prior to delivery to ensure efficient commissioning.

Coordinate vessel schedules and port agent details once vessel preparation is confirmed, arranging onboard commissioning by service engineers.

Create and manage communication channels (e.g., WhatsApp, WeChat groups) involving engineers, sales personnel, and technical support teams to facilitate real-time communication and issue resolution.

Provide operational support for vessels experiencing issues such as internet outages, crew PIN requirements, or access restrictions to applications and websites.

Escalate technical issues to the appropriate service or support teams when required.

Collect service reports, commissioning reports, and KVH reports from engineers upon completion of onboard work.

Review all documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.

Formally notify customers upon successful completion of vessel commissioning and project handover.

Maintain accurate project records and documentation for future reference.

Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Maritime Studies, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience in project coordination, maritime communications, vessel operations, or a related industry is preferred.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and work under tight deadlines.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and communication platforms such as WhatsApp and WeChat.

Knowledge of maritime satellite communication systems, antenna installations, and vessel operations is an advantage.

Willingness to work flexible hours to support vessel schedules and commissioning activities when required.
