The Project Planner cum Document Controller will be responsible for planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, and document control management for a large-scale LTA project. The role requires strong expertise in Primavera P6, programme control, and structured document management, ensuring alignment with LTA requirements, contractual obligations, and project delivery timelines.
- Develop, maintain, and update the Master Project Schedule using Oracle Primavera P6.
- Identify critical path, key milestones, and interface dependencies across civil, structural, M&E, solar, and related disciplines.
- Ensure project schedules comply with LTA requirements and contractual obligations.
- Forecast potential delays, conduct impact analysis, and propose mitigation and recovery plans.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and schedule variance analysis.
- Track progress against approved baselines and monitor submissions from contractors and subcontractors.
- Analyse productivity rates, resource loading, and schedule performance indicators.
- Present planning updates and key insights to Senior Project Manager and stakeholders.
- Work closely with Project Manager, BIM Manager, Design Team, and Site Teams to align planning with site execution.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to integrate their schedules into the overall master programme.
- Participate in coordination meetings and interface discussions to resolve planning and sequencing conflicts.
- Identify schedule risks and conduct risk and impact assessments.
- Develop mitigation, acceleration, and recovery strategies.
- Support Extension of Time (EOT) claims, delay analysis, and contractual planning matters.
- Establish and maintain a robust document control system in accordance with LTA and project requirements.
- Manage the submission, tracking, distribution, and filing of drawings, technical documents, correspondences, and reports.
- Ensure proper version control, document numbering, and revision tracking across all project documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely submission and approval of documents.
- Maintain accurate records of transmittals, submissions, approvals, and document logs for audit and traceability.
- Ensure all planning and document control processes comply with project specifications, LTA standards, and contractual requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits, reviews, and project reporting.
- Support preparation of project reports, dashboards, and management updates.
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- PMP Certification preferred
- Certification in planning/scheduling or document control is an advantage
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in project planning and/or document control, preferably in LTA or infrastructure projects
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Primavera P6 (mandatory)
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational and documentation management capabilities
- Proficient in Primavera P6, Excel, MS Project, and document control systems
- Strong communication and coordination skills across stakeholders
- Ability to manage large data sets and maintain structured documentation
