Project Manager

Responsibilities

Oversee assigned projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards

Plan and manage delivery and installation schedules

Coordinate and supervise site manpower, materials, tools, and equipment

Manage subcontractors’ work at project site to ensure smooth progress and quality work

Issue job orders to the production team and ensure timely delivery of finished goods

Plan and monitor installation works, including aluminium windows, doors, and curtain wall systems

Attend and participate in site meetings with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors

Coordinate with clients on technical submissions, safety, and site activities

Work with the fabrication manager for submission of material samples to customers and consultants for approval

Work with designers for submission of shop-drawing, material specifications and work method statements to customers and consultants for approval

Build and maintain good relationships with clients, architects and consultants

Supervise site staff, including supervisors, workers, and subcontractors

Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and safe work practices

Prepare progress reports and assist with progress claims and verify subcontractor claims for work done on site

Support variation claims with proper documentation (e.g., site records, photos, instructions from customers and consultants)

Handle ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering/ Structural Engineering/ Construction Management or related field

Must be qualified to serve as the Technical Controller

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Singapore HDB/construction/ private residential and commercial projects (curtain wall/ window/aluminium industry is added advantage)

Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and window schedules

Proficient in Microsoft Project/Office; knowledge of HDB procedures & CONQUAS preferred

Strong coordination and people management skills

Good problem-solving ability

Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and proactive mindset
