Job description for Project Engineer at Concord Corporation

Key Responsibilities

·        Assist the Project Manager in providing engineering consultancy and project management services for 22kV AC, 750V DC Power System installation.

·        Participate in engineering activities across the project; by managing the disciplines for the achievement of budget, schedule, quality, and safety goals.

·        Manage and oversee engineering projects related to power systems.

·        Coordinate with relevant stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost- effective project delivery.

·        Review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation related to substation equipment, transformers, switchgear, and protection systems.

·        Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards in accordance with regulatory and company guidelines.

·        Prepare and track project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.

·        Support site inspections, commissioning activities, and troubleshooting as required.

·        Liaise with regulatory authorities and stakeholders on permits, approvals, and inspections for the project.

Qualifications and Work Experience

·        Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Degree in Electrical Engineering / Power Engineering or Relevant field of studies.

·        Experience in 22kV switchgear replacement.

·        Cable replacement works.

·        MSRA preparation and implementation.

·        Experience in A&A (Addition & Alteration) works.

·        Ability to read, review, and interpret electrical drawings.

·        Familiar with Singapore’s energy regulations, EMA codes, and industrial safety standards.

·        Experience working in LTA or similar industrial projects is an advantage.

·        Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in electrical installation projects.

·        Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

·        Ability to work independently and travel to site when required.

·        Able to perform night works including weekends and public holidays.
