About the Role
Join our dynamic team as a Project Engineer at a healthcare site under the Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) sector. You will manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and client requirements. Candidates with Quantity Surveying (QS) experience will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
Liaise with healthcare users and stakeholders to ensure project requirements and specifications are met.
Coordinate with contractors on manpower, materials, and equipment within defined budgets.
Prepare tender (RFQ) specifications, project schedules, tender calls, and evaluate submissions.
Attend project meetings, propose solutions, and address client concerns promptly.
Oversee proper handover of projects, including testing and commissioning (T&C) of equipment and facilities.
Collaborate with engineers and technical teams on technical specifications for existing facility systems.
Monitor project implementation to ensure timely completion and compliance with healthcare standards.
Verify contractors’ submission of as-built drawings, OMM manuals, and proper documentation.
Update project progress reports for managers and clients.
Perform any other duties as assigned to support project success.
Requirements
Degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Strong background in project management and Quantity Surveying (QS).
Prior experience in healthcare or IFM projects is an advantage.
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
