Job description for Project Engineer - Lighting at LKH Projects Distribution Pte Ltd
Job Responsibility
Initiate, verify and report the project requirements and specifications with the sales and customers for effective project planning to ensure timely delivery;
Attend to on-site issues/complaints and resolve product problems by providing troubleshooting support;
Oversee lighting projects from planning to completion, including site surveys, design management, and coordination to fulfil contract obligations;
Assist in preparing tendering documents (cutsheet), submission sample and design for approval (owner, architect, consultant, etc) to ensure accurate and timely bill of material submissions for approval;
Build and maintain relationships with contractors, installers, and facility owners;
Attend site meetings for coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making;
Report site conditions and project progression to the supervisor/ manager after site meeting;
Oversee subcontractors to enhance project execution effectiveness and ensure compliance with workplace safety and health standards throughout the project;
Assist in any adhoc works assigned by the supervisor/ manager.
Job Requirements
Singaporean is welcome to apply.
Diploma in Electrical/Electronics engineering or related engineering qualifications.
Experience in site coordination, preferably in construction projects.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, single-line diagram, schematic diagram, etc.
Good communication skills, fluent in both spoken English and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Problem-solving, decision-making, and people management skills.
Knowledge of sustainability standards related to project management. (e.g., energy efficiency, resource efficiency, health & safety, risk management, profit, etc)
Use of office software applications.
