Job Summary
The Programme Executive plans, implements, and evaluates enrichment programmes for adults with Down syndrome. This role manages outreach, liaises with stakeholders, prepares reports, and supports the development and engagement of the Down Syndrome community.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, implement, coordinate, and evaluate DSA programmes and initiatives to enhance participant engagement and programme relevance
- Coordinate and manage Adult Development Services (ADS) programmes to improve the quality of life for adult members through supportive activities
- Conduct targeted outreach efforts to connect with potential members and increase participation in enrichment programmes
- Administer and manage relationships with trainers, instructors, service providers, and participants to ensure smooth programme delivery
- Execute outreach and publicity campaigns to engage the Down Syndrome community and attract target participants for DSA programmes
- Liaise with ADS colleagues and external parties to monitor and support learners’ performance and progress
- Maintain active communication and engagement with DSA members, individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the community through information sharing and networking
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including service providers, government agencies, academic institutions, and social service agencies to facilitate networking, resource sharing, referrals, and support
- Participate in relevant workshops, conferences, and seminars to contribute to the development of persons with Down syndrome
- Prepare and distribute the monthly DSA update to all members within the first week of each month
- Compile and submit monthly reports on ADS programmes, initiatives, and training activities as required by management or the Board of Management
- Collect, maintain, and analyze data related to ADS programmes to support ongoing research and programme development
- Attend relevant meetings and provide secretariat support as needed
- Execute additional tasks assigned by the Manager, ADS or Executive Director
