Title : Procurement Executive (Construction M&E Industry)
Job Location : Kaki Bukit (HQ)
Reporting : Head of Procurement Department / Project manager
Working Days : Monday to Friday ( 8.30am to 5.30pm)
Key Responsibilities
The Procurement Executive main duties will be manages the purchasing of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery for projects
To negotiate with vendors, process purchase orders, and ensure compliance with project specifications, typically requiring a construction or supply chain background.
Sourcing & Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers; maintain a preferred vendor list.
Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize costs.
Procurement Operations: Process Purchase Orders (POs), review requisitions, and manage contract documentation.
Project Coordination: Liaise with project managers to align purchases with site requirements and project timelines.
Quality & Compliance: Ensure materials meet technical specifications (ISO standards) and comply with company policies.
Logistics & Tracking: Coordinate delivery of materials to sites and track inventory levels.
Requirements
Experience: Previous procurement experience, minimum 2 years, specifically within construction or engineering firms.
Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
Software: Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Education: Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
