Failure Analysis group plays a pivotal role in analyzing manufacturing data to identify trends, uncovering the root cause for low yield and failure mechanism, and drive continuous yield improvements and defect reductions.
About the Role - you will:
Responsible for daily product yield/defects monitoring and investigate root causes of yield variations.
Perform physical failure analysis to identify source of defects.
Big data analysis is used to go along with physical FA to provide engineering insight
Collaborate with cross functional team including engineering, manufacturing, and test & quality assurance to investigate and address yield/defect related issues.
Drive continuous improvement initiative to enhance product yield and quality.
Support multiple engineering improvement projects.
Conduct statistical analysis and use data visualization techniques to present findings and recommendation to stakeholders.
About you:
Enjoy working with large datasets and using data to tell a clear technical story.
Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with people at all levels.
Prefer analytical problem solving and cross functional collaboration over extensive hands on lab work.
Are detail oriented, self driven, and comfortable influencing decisions through data.
Your experience includes:
Degree in Science/Engineering or related discipline.
Familiar with data analysis/visualization using tools like excel, JMP, tableau etc.
Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and technique is desirable
