Job description for Pre‑Sales Solution Engineer at PANSTONE SYSTEMS PTE.LTD.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Pre‑Sales Solution Engineer to provide technical pre‑sales support for Panstone Cloud PC—a next‑generation commercial computer designed for high‑security, multi‑network parallel, and high‑performance scenarios—in the Singapore market.

In this role, you will serve as the technical lead for the sales team, working closely with direct sales managers and partner sales managers to drive solution qualification, architecture design, product demonstration, proof‑of‑concept (PoC), and technical response. You will translate the core technical differentiators of Panstone Cloud PC—three‑domain separation, terminal‑zero‑data, structural isolation—into tangible business value for enterprise customers.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements Discovery & Solution Design:

Conduct in‑depth technical discussions with enterprise customers (especially in government, finance, energy, and manufacturing) to deeply understand security compliance, multi‑network parallel, and high‑performance use cases. Design competitive and differentiated solutions leveraging the three‑domain separationarchitecture of Panstone Cloud PC.

Product Demonstration & PoC:

Independently handle—or partner with sales managers to handle—product demonstrations, proof‑of‑concept, and technical validation within customer environments, clearly communicating core capabilities such as terminal‑zero‑dataand structural isolation.

Technical Documentation & Bid Response:

Write or assist in the preparation of technical proposals, RFI/RFP response documents, and white papers that showcase how Panstone Cloud PC addresses customer requirements.

Technical Trust & Q&A:

Respond promptly to technical questions during the pre‑sales phase, act as a trusted technical advisor to customer IT teams, and clearly articulate the three‑domain architecture and how it supports compliance.

Partner Technical Enablement:

Provide technical training, product enablement, and pre‑sales support to the technical teams of local channel partners.

Product Feedback Loop:

Systematically capture on‑the‑ground technical and compliance feedback, and help drive product roadmap adjustments and localization planning with HQ R&D and product teams.

Continuous Learning:

Maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge of desktop cloud, VDI, and enterprise endpoint security trends, and stay aware of how emerging PDPA technical requirements in Singapore affect solution design.


Qualifications

3–8 years of experience in a technical pre‑sales or solution engineering role for enterprise IT, cloud, or infrastructure solutions.

Strong understanding of at least one of the following enterprise infrastructure domains: cloud computing (IaaS/PaaS), virtualization, HCI, desktop cloud (VDI/DaaS), software‑defined data centers, or modern workplace infrastructure.

Prior experience supporting or selling solutions from VMware, Citrix, Nutanix, Huawei desktop cloud, or similar VDI vendors is highly preferred.

Ability to engage with IT managers, architects, and senior technical decision‑makers, proactively identify customer technical pain points, and build trusted advisor relationships through value‑driven presentations and Q&A.

Ability to juggle multiple pre‑sales projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment, and independently drive proof‑of‑concept and solution validation efforts to closure.

Fluent in English (working language proficiency for technical conversations and solution presentations); business‑fluent Chinese is required(must be able to work smoothly with HQ R&D and product teams).

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or a related field. Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, VMware VCP, AWS Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Must be a Singapore citizen or permanent resident.

Nice to Have

Hands‑on deployment or operational experience with desktop cloud, VDI, or DaaS solutions, with an understanding of common performance and security validation challenges.

Familiarity with IT compliance requirements in government, finance, energy, or manufacturing verticals in Singapore (e.g., PDPA, MAS TRM guidelines).

Experience designing or implementing network isolation (physical dual‑network / virtual‑physical separation) or multi‑security‑domain architectures.

Experience in related enterprise infrastructure domains such as storage, backup, or data center disaster recovery.

Proficiency in a Southeast Asian local language (e.g., Malay, Thai) or other common regional languages.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual Base Salary: SGD 84,000 – 132,000 (approximately SGD 7,000 – 11,000per month, negotiable based on experience and skills)

Other Benefits: Statutory annual leave and sick leave; Medical insurance covering mandatory requirements for foreign employees and optional coverage for local employees; Statutory benefits such as CPF (employer contribution of 17%) and SDL are fully and timely contributed by the company.
